Hiring an OBM (Online Business Manager) decides on if you’re financially prepared and if you’re current operations require a strategic guidance to streamline.

Typically, on the financially side, you should be able to afford something similar to a FULL-TIME employee salary amount; which can be W2 or 1099. Your business type will determine what level of operation support you will need. Many time you need a strong system setup to where you can manage it on your own till you are able to budget for a full-time position expense.

In addition to financial position is where your current operations stand. This is in reference to understanding all your day to day tasks and what needs to be done manually or can be systematized.

Day to day tasks typically involves financial reporting, analyzation, customer support, communication and engagement; amongst other things. What can be systemized are notifications, posting, fulfillment steps, payments, and many client experience workflows.
